Welcome to Tweed Palliative Support
Just a short distance from Murwillumbah, the not-for-profit Tweed Palliative Support Inc service was established in 1998. It provides free Hospice Home care and support along with live-in Hospice care at Wedgetail Retreat. A tranquil setting for any Australian in need of end-of-life care.
Tweed Palliative Support (TPS) is there for you, your child, your mum, grandad or anyone and their family who may be living with the unimaginable, a life-limiting illness. TPS and the soon to be officially opened Wedgetail Retreat, offer physical, emotional, spiritual and social support during those precious last days or weeks.
Although this can be an incredibly challenging time, Tweed Palliative Support and Wedgetail Retreat endeavour to inspire and uplift and to provide support wherever we can.

- Become a volunteer carer and undertake a training course.
- Make a bequest in your Will.

- Having a sporting event? Raise funds for TPS & Wedgetail Retreat.
- Join TPS Membership or ask us about other ways you can assist.
Give for CARE in your community
Tweed Palliative Support and Wedgetail Retreat hospice have partnered with Southern Cross Credit Union (SCCU) in the Give for CARE in your community campaign during May and June. They aim, through community support, to raise over $500,000 towards continuing and expanding their important and free services.
Your generous donations to Tweed Palliative Support and Wedgetail Retreat hospice will provide support, care and help local people when they need it most.
Donations can be deposited at any of the ten branches of the Southern Cross Credit Union across the Northern Rivers. Look out for the Give for CARE in your community posters and ‘Thank you’ donation postcards. You can also donate securely on-line through our ‘Donate’ button on this website.
